What is a VPN
A VPN is an encrypted tunnel between your device and a server. All your internet traffic goes through it, so anyone along the way - for example, whoever runs the public Wi-Fi at a cafe or airport - only sees encrypted data.

What we store - and what we don't

We store
- A random device identifier. It is created on your phone and is not linked to your name, email, phone number or Apple Account.
- The date of first launch - to apply the free plan rules.
- A public encryption key for each server you have connected to.
- Your IP address - for no longer than 24 hours, only to protect the service from abuse.
We never store
- Websites you visit
- The contents of your traffic
- Your name, email or phone number
- Which server you pick or your routing settings
- Connection history
We do not sell, use or disclose user data to third parties for any purpose.

How is this possible?
Rubin VPN runs on user support
We have no ads and we don't sell data. Servers are paid for by people who get a supporter key - and in return they skip the queue.

The short version
Is it really free?
Yes. The first 3 days have no limits. After that the app keeps working for free, with a connection queue: one hour connected, then one hour of waiting. A supporter key is optional - it only removes the queue and unlocks exclusive servers.
Do I need to sign up?
No. No email, no phone number, no password. The app creates a random device identifier by itself - it can't be used to find out who you are.
Do you keep logs?
No. We don't store browsing history, traffic contents or connection history. The full list of what we store is in our Privacy Policy.
How many devices can use one supporter key?
Up to 7 devices per key. You can free up a slot in the app settings on any of them. More on the supporter key page.
How do I delete my data?
Email support@rubinvpn.com and we will delete the device identifier and everything linked to it.
